At Alexiou Farms, we are a proud family-run business offering farm-fresh potatoes, produce, and excavation services to our local community. We believe in transparency and in treating our customers and clients with fairness and respect.
The following Terms & Conditions explain how we operate and what you can expect when doing business with us, whether online, at our farm stand, through CSA memberships, or when booking our excavation services. By using our website, making purchases, or booking services, you agree to the following terms.
General
Alexiou Farms provides fresh produce, farm goods, and excavation services to local customers. These Terms apply to all online and in-person transactions. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be posted on this page.
Product Information
Our farm products are grown naturally and are subject to seasonal availability. As fresh produce varies in size, weight, and appearance, products may differ slightly from what is shown online.
Pricing & Payment
Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Payment is due at the time of purchase or upon completion of services, depending on the agreement. Accepted payment methods may include cash, debit/credit, e-transfer, or other methods where available.
Refunds & Returns
For farm products, all sales of fresh produce are final due to the perishable nature of our goods. If you experience an issue, please contact us within 48 hours and we will do our best to resolve it.
For CSA memberships, payments are non-refundable. Missed pickups are the responsibility of the member, though alternate pickup arrangements may be made if notice is provided.
For excavation services, refunds or adjustments will follow the terms outlined in your signed service agreement.
Excavation Services
Project terms—including scope of work, pricing, deposits, and completion dates—will be detailed in a signed contract prior to the start of any project. Excavation work is subject to weather and site conditions. Clients must provide safe access to the site and inform us of any hazards such as utilities, septic systems, or underground features. Alexiou Farms is not liable for damages caused by unmarked or undisclosed site features.
CSA Membership Terms
CSA members agree to pick up shares as scheduled and understand that share contents may vary due to natural growing conditions. Full payment is required to reserve a share. Missed pickups will not be refunded but may be donated if unclaimed.
Liability
Alexiou Farms is not liable for damages arising from your use of our website, products, recipes, or services. Farm work and excavation work both carry inherent risks. Customers and clients acknowledge these risks by engaging with our business.
Intellectual Property
All website content, photos, graphics, and text are the property of Alexiou Farms and may not be used or reproduced without written consent.
